I know it is very strange for me to even mention being in love, but I think I am at that point. Who knew that this could happen to me? We were brought together around Christmas time, I've hardly spoken to anyone about this. Trust me I was very timid to even try and put my hopes up. But I was amazed when I came home from work on Tuesday to find something so soft and tender waiting for me.
Yep, I am in love with my crock pot. I didn't know that chicken could get so tender and yummy by adding a couple cans of soup and salt / pepper. Mom got me the thing for Christmas, and I haven't tried it out till now.
I've been using that 25 lbs bag of rice that Aaron got me for Christmas as well. Don't worry, he gave me a rice cooker at the same time, he isn't that mean.... anymore. I might not have gotten any clothes this Christmas (I was amazed!), but I did get some cook wear as I am single and will stay single for a long time yet!
No mom, I am not dating anyone. No mom, I haven't been in a relationship since... er... um... what year is this?

So glad you like your Christmas present...I did get you clothes, by the way. Changed my mind and took them back. I'm so glad I can still surprise you once in a while. Next Christmas, who knows, maybe a SALAD SHOOTER!!! I love my crockpot, too. It's so nice to throw things in it in the morning and not have to figure out what to have for dinner at 5:30. I love smelling the stew or whatever throughout the day. Yum!
So ya wanna know what I got for Christmas: a wok, a George Foreman, and table settings for 2. Hmmmm...subliminal message?
Some thoughts:
1. A boy and his crock pot, how special.
2. I thought I noticed a twinkle in your eye the last time we were together, I would have never guessed.
3 You need to get out more.
I feel the exact same way about my new vaccuum cleaner. I'm so in love. Sigh....
I agree with Dad. You need to get out more. And if you go out to a movie and buy 2 tickets so your Crock-Pot can sit next to you, I would appreciate it if you would change your last name.
I must admit, I am in love with my new coffee pot Mom got us for Christmas. My old coffee pot cheated on me with the Salad Spinner. That whore...
Did I forget to mention my new coffee pot is hotter than the old one? Much hotter! I love her...she likes to be called Madeleine.
ARGH...need more coffee.
I've seen this sort of thing before, you get a crock pot and, yeah, at first, they are great. Nothing better, you use them once in awhile. Pretty soon it's every day, then you notice you don't bake or broil as often as you used to. Then the crock pot isn't enough, oh no, you start experimenting with microwavable dinners. Next thing you know its 3 am and you're at the Quickie Mart trying to score a leftover breakfast burrito. This could have a sad, sad ending.
*in a mocking voice* Jason's learning to cooook. Hee hee, he's getting domesticated! You know, girls like boys who can cook!
