Well I am a working man once again. Pa has shown mercy on me and has allowed me to work at the Weight Loss Clinic. Today was interesting, but everything seems simple enough. I think Dad is just happy to have another male working there, so he has someone to roll his eyes with while the "girl" conversations go on around the office.
It is so wonderful not to be working in a Union environment again. Everyone works! No one sleeps at their desk, though Dad contemplated it.
I was able to watch Rhonda take blood through out the day. At one point, two guys were getting their blood drawn, and I said.. "I'm not sure I'll be able to do this if I can't use my belt." Everyone laughed, and then I said "At what point do I light the candle and use the spoon?"
Granted, it was inappropriate, but pretty funny. Once Dad reads this post, he might have to have a chat with me....
Regarding the below post... Melissa and I are still working on our friendship. I don't want folks to get the wrong impression of her. She is going through a rough patch at this time. I was a bit upset / frustrated when I wrote the below post.

Short lived....
Not much to really say other than, it was nice to visit with the girl on the phone for the short amount of time that we had together. She's going to make a re-try with her boyfriend of two years.
I really don't have much luck with women. Oh well, I need to work on school now.
Maybe something will come of it later, but I dare not hold my breath.
Though it was nice to be liked.... you know?

IHOP
I'm a fan of IHOP. They have pretty good food for a fair price. I also like to sit there after my meal and read. Friday I had more of a reason to eat and read, I had packing I needed to take care of. I looked pretty rough. I hadn't shaved in about 3 weeks, I hadn't showered so my hair was all over the place. I figured "Only red necks go out to eat at IHOP. Why would I need to clean up?"
The waitress asked when I sat down if I would need a liter bottle of soda to keep me happy, as she says I tend to drink a lot. As she went back to retreive that container, I drank the entire glass in front of me to be 'cute'. We both thought it was funny.
After my meal, a pretty young woman and her little daughter came in and sat across from me. From the distance I was sitting I couldn't tell if she had a wedding ring on or not, luckily she didn't. After a while she asked me if it took a long time to get my drink, I replied "No, I got it pretty fast."
"Well I'm thirsty! And they haven't even asked me what I wanted yet!"
She wasn't happy. So I sat there for a moment and then took a long sip of my drink, and said "Boy this drink is really good! So cool and refreshing." We both laughed.
Her five year old girl Brooklyn is really cute. Not shy. No one else was in our section for dinner, so she was able to wander around while her mom and I talked. After awhile a couple came into the section we were in and sat in the back corner. We just ignored them and continued on with oru conversation. After awhile the couple got up and moved to a different section. I thought it was really funny, but she just rolled her eyes and said "Like I care."
Melissa is her name and she is very pretty. If she didn't start of the conversation, I would have been too shy to do so. I asked her for her phone number, she wrote it down with a crayon on some paper. I still have it in my wallet.
We visited with each other for little over an hour at the resturant, then both went our seperate ways. We talked on the phone later that night till the wee hours of the morning. It's too bad that I have poor timing.
It'll be awhile before we can actually have a 'date' as she is very busy. It's all good though. It is enjoyable to get to know her via email, texting, and talks on the phone.
