Well this is the week that I "get" to pack and go through all of my crap. I've got a lot of crap. I've found bills left over from Georgia... they are all paid... I just need to shred 'em. I have come across various journals, papers, books, etc. Coming across the journals has allowed me to slow my progress and sit and read. I hate cleaning and organizing.
I came across an entry when I was 16. I wrote something along the lines of : "Now that I am older, Dad and I are able to actually do things together. It has been a lot of fun as we have come to know each other better." I've always thought that Dad and I were close, but when I started to think about it, we didn't really bond till he was done with School and we started having the same interests. Interests like video games. Laugh if you will, but I remember dad asking me "Hey Jason, can you load that Doom game on the computer for me?" or "Where is your Nintendo? I want to play Tetris." I was the kid in school with the dad that was cool. He would play video games with us.
Mom and I were close during that time as well. She was usually home when I came home from school with my lunch. I would usually go to the Snack Shack and pick up a Bacon Cheese Burger. Mmmmm it was always so good. The brown paper sack was almost see through by the time I would make it home. Once, when I brought a friend over to the house, mom took a bite out of my burger. In mid chew I said " Mom that was Karl's" I thought she was about to spit it out. Of course it was my burger... but it was funny.
I've decided not to read my journal anymore during this move. I need to pack. I also need to disconnect my tv. Granted I am writing this at Rob and Chrissy's.... It is a mess at my place... and um... I had to procrastinate more. Emily is a good distraction. She sure is cute! and a flirt!

Get busy! And leave my house already! Sheesh!
Actually, it's fun having you around. We should do dinner sometime.
It's fun to read old journals. I just with I kept one so I could read the old ones...can I read yours???
I just re-read my comment and I realize I have a lisp...did you notice, I can't say "wish", instead I said "with". Gosh, I'd never noticed that lisp before. It must be something new.
Whoa...where are you moving to? I thought blogging was supposed to keep me informed on your life. Keeping with the last two posts though, I'm only caught up to your mission.
Reading old journals are lots of fun. I especially get a kick out of some of the words we used when we were young, before we knew what they actually meant. In a journal I wrote, I thought the word "slut" meant somebody dorky and I listed a bunch of my "slut" friends...
They do make you smile.
