I went up into the mountains to drink in nature... and find a nice place to sit and read. This whole vacation I kept trying to find the "perfect" place to park my butt and read. It was very nice not having to worry about fire ants, chiggers, and other Texas bugs when finding the perfect place. I never found that perfect place, I would sit by a stream and think "Why do I have to pee?"
But I did end up playing in the snow.

But kept getting a wiff of something... so I had to look around for that something. Found a doggy that just wanted to play dead... and nothing else.

Later in the trip, we found an old Buick... I guess they are all old, but you know what I mean. I think we spent way too long looking at this old car and the trash around it... but I guess I am not in tune with my artistic side... I did find a place to sit and read my book though... it was in the car.
All in all, I had a good time. It did feel good to get away from it all.

Nice pictures...except for that one, you know, the one of the dog. Poor thing. Wouldn't it be nice to not have to worry about fire ants and ticks and chiggers and honking big spiders and the list goes on.

I love the other nature pictures! They turned out great! Makes me wanna go! I'm glad you found the perfect place to read your book.
